SYNCRETIST: OSCILLATED LIVE LP out 10/25 + NY shows

I’m pleased to announce a new Syncretist album. Oscillated Live is out October 25th, with pre-orders open today. Oscillated Live will be available on oscilloscope green vinyl.

More shows are on the calendar for October and November in New York and Virginia – details below.

Since the cassette & digital release of Oscillated Incidents I’ve played just shy of twenty full Syncretist shows, from Norfolk, VA to Kingston, NY. Music hits different in a room with people really listening, and I’ve used that to continually rework the material and explore what feels true to my voice and how that connects.

Oscillated Live is a recording of the Syncretist performance at Bar Freda, in Ridgewood, New York, last fall. Over the winter and spring I kept coming back to the recording. It’s a snapshot of Syncretist live, one year in.

Oscillated Live includes the previously unreleased Catalyst as well as Wave Function, released this spring, and Artic Res-q, previously only available in demo form. Other tracks are from Oscillated Incidents, but all have been substantially transformed.

The recording was mastered by Von Hertzog of The Social Club. No edits were made.

Oscillated Live is the first Syncretist release pressed to vinyl LP. It will also be available for digital download and streaming.

And: shows! I’m playing a weekend of shows in New York in October. The first date is Friday, October 16, at Collar Works in Troy for the initial show of ARCHITRAVE’S new Future Ruins series. I’ll be joining ARCHITRAVE, VIOLET NOX and SISTERHOOD OF SLEEP; there will be immersive visuals from DERICK!!! as well as DJ RACHEL RAVE.

Saturday, October 17th, in NYC brings another remarkable lineup, at Danger Danger in Bushwick. Featuring the first live performance from RONTRONIK in years, I’m also joined by the fantastic DARLING BLACK and BUNNY X. The night also features a DJ set from Andy Diamond (DIAMOND FIELD).

Pre-orders for OSCILLATED LIVE are now open. Please check relevant Insta accounts for further details on those NY shows, and shows in Virginia to follow in November.

This show I organized was a blast – the first Virginia gig for Bunny X. Here are photos of me and the amazing performers I convinced to share the stage – Bunny X, Ionna, and Ships in the Night.

  • release: UNCONDITIONAL LOVE remix

I was thrilled to be asked to do a syncretist remix of Architrave’s track “Unconditional Love” from their amazing PANIC JOY album.

A collection of remixes was released just in time for this past Valentine’s day, with versions from the band themselves, Jay Travis, and Snowbeasts. You can grab the EP here, or on your favorite streaming service.

  • Next gig: Sunday Soundtracks, 2/22/26

This show features PT Burnem aka ZnZerna playing his very cool homemade synth constructed from oscillators, guitar pickups and other magic. Coming in from Harrisonburg, Jaguardini will be doing a set of retro-synth score. I’m really looking forward to this show; I’ve been messing with my set again, integrating a new synth and some fresh tweaks. I can’t wait to share it!

  • release: Wave function single

    release: Wave function

Like most of my music, this started with intention to explore a sound world and ended up connecting to something emotional I could only really see after it was done.

Wave function is now on Bandcamp, Apple Music, Spotify, and pretty much anyplace you can type into a search box and get sound to come out.

  • dance, dance, dance to the radio

Jitter FM is a new streaming station, laser focussed on “late night electronics”. It’s always 2AM somewhere!

Syncretist is a fresh addition to the mix. It’s an extremely streamlined setup but the selection is chef’s kiss, and there’s a track listing that’s active for the previous ten tracks so you can figure out who made that cool track you heard. This is a project from dc musician Auxidized.

  • syncretist track in new audio interface show

Audio Interface is a very cool project from Pete Xylander, operating from an undisclosed location in the UK, which aims to share some of the fantastic electronic music being made by unsigned artists. There are themed “radio” shows released periodically, with focusses on different genres and vibes. These are a great source of new and interesting music; the selection and sequencing are top notch. All you have to do is subscribe in your podcast player and they just show up.

I’ve previously had tracks on both Forgotten Futures and Disturbing Dreams. A new episode of Transverse Tempo just dropped, and there’s a syncretist track nestled in midway through the show.

abstract collage painting in pastel tones by Precious Burger

Very pleased to share this – last summer I was asked by maryland artist Anhch to remix a track for him. I did a fairly thorough reworking of his track the module is becoming old and creaky from his album The Byzantine Business of Reality Maintenance. The new track was released january 20th, 2026, on the Agitate Against Silence ep.

You can listen to it right here:
